What Hi-Fi Award Winners and more

The end of last year saw the annual What Hi-Fi awards results released and there were some very worthy winners including Grado SR80i and SR325is headphones which are some of the finest available presenting a refined and detailed performance. This can be further inproved by using one of the award winning headphone amplifiers from Graham Slee or Lehmann Audio. Now we are offering further discounts when you buy a pair of headphones and an headphone amplifier as a package

Another great product that is really making waves is the fantastic new iPod system from Arcam. The rCube is a stylish ipod dock that playsback your music files with power and precision. It will work wirelessly (with optional dongle)so that you can use your iPod or PC as a remote control. Rcube can also be used using it's rechargeable battery power so it will be a popular sight at the best barbecue parties this summer.

Finally we can't write about What Hi-Fi award winners without mentioning the fabulous
Audiolab 8200CD
. This should be described as a DAC plus CD player rather than just as a conventional CD Player. Featuring the Sabre 32-bit audio DAC from ESS Technology to carry out D-to-A conversion. Equipped with plenty of digital inputs – optical, coaxial and USB, the 8200CD can be used to deliver top-quality sound from all kinds of digital sources, including audio files from computers and other media devices. The result - excellent sounding music from all sources.

The player naturally matches up perfectly with the Audiolab 8200A integrated amplifier. A powerful 60 watts per channel of dynamic quality. The 8200CD and 8200A amplifier make for a quality and classy system that will blow away anything else in its price range.
